About Smartphone Free Childhood USA

We want to inspire and empower parents to make smartphone free childhoods a reality in their local communities by amplifying existing advocacy organizations, generating and sharing practical activation ideas and resources and celebrating and supporting each other along the way. We are parents first, from different states and backgrounds, united by a shared goal: to provide a healthier, happier life for our kids. Inspired by the findings in The Anxious Generation, we formed this group to address the growing issues of depression, anxiety, and social development problems in children. The main causes? The loss of independent play, the rise of smartphones, and the impact of social media. Join us in making a positive change for our children's future.
